Situated on a 60 acre farm in the country, Ironstone Veterinary Hospital, serves as a picturesque escape from everyday life. As you drive down the lane leading to the hospital, you will be greeted by horses grazing in pastures, the rumbling moos of the farm's cows, our friendly, attention loving barn cat, Blossom, and possibly a herd of errant, Houdini goats.
Our boarding facility, located in the back of our clinic, accommodates every sort of pet as well as having a grooming parlor. We offer boarding to not only dogs and cats but other pets as well such as birds, pocket pets, and even farm animals. All pets love to come to the country to run around in the grass, and experience the different sights and smells.
We know leaving an important member of the family behind while on a vacation or business trip can be hard and stressful for both the pet and you. While the boarding facilities are certainly not home, we try to make your pets as comfortable, secure, and happy as possible. Since a doctor resides on the premises, hopefully, you, the owner will have peace of mind as well. While in our care, we provide your loved ones with bowls, bedding, food, and a lot of TLC! If your pet is on a special diet, you are welcome to bring their food and a toy along for the visit. Our rates for boarding range from $20-$32 per night depending upon the size and type of your pet. We are also able to medicated your pet while they are here for $2+ per dose. Please see the other pages listed below for more information regarding our dog kennels and cat condos.
